About the Role

Educational Keys’s Director of Communications will create and execute Educational Keys’s marketing and outreach.  The Director of Communications will report directly to the Founder.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate marketing, outreach, and communications across Educational Key’s key stakeholder audiences
  • Create a marketing and outreach strategy that includes new, consistent, and regular:
    • Internal/external messaging
    • Website maintenance and updates
    • Marketing, branding, and educational collateral
    • All social media outreach and campaigns
    • Design, production, and distribution of company newsletter and other collateral to different stakeholder audiences
    • Establish relationships with news media, service provider, and community-based contacts that lead to measurable action and an increase in interest-inquiry yields
    • Increase company visibility in the education sector
    • Work with partners to coordinate marketing, outreach, and co-branding

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills, as evidenced by newsletters (online and print), press kits, social media engagement, outreach, and campaigns
  • A strong track record as a strategizer and implementer who thrives on managing a variety of key initiatives concurrently
  • Self-starter; able to work entrepreneurially and independently
  • High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to position communications discussions at both strategic and tactical levels

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Academic Services, the Enrollment Coordinator will create, implement, and evaluate strategies to increase enrollment and completion in all of Educational Keys’s product, service, and consulting offerings across our key constituencies:  1) students, 2) educators, and 3) schools and school systems administrators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement strategies designed to increase yields at inquiry, application, and enrollment stages
  • Engage in competitive efforts to recruit and retain students, staff, and schools
  • Set and meet robust enrollment goals
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Communications to ensure effective, targeted, and cohesive outreach and marketing as it pertains to enrollment
  • Collect, analyze, and use student data on enrollment and outcomes
  • Demonstrate continued, measurable improvements in yields
  • Work collaboratively with company senior staff
  • Generate reports for internal and external use on enrollment profiles, retention, and performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proven track record of building relationships with educational professionals with measurable and progressive outcomes

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and coordination of the scholarship module
  • Ensure seamless content integration between the web-based scholarship module and printed materials
  • Align content with current research and resources to assure the highest quality course and service offerings to students, educators, and professionals
  • Create and implement measures of assessment for scholarship programs and modules
  • Collect, analyze, and report data on use, assessment, and program completion
  • Collaborate with the Director of Communications to produce materials and collateral that encourage stakeholders to complete and recommend the program to others

What We Require

We value all of our interns and go the extra mile to make sure you receive a learning experience that fits your career goals. You will receive free guidance in planning out your college career. The guidance you will receive will be supplemented with free access to Educational Keys Consulting Services (generally billed at $150 an hour). You will become extremely knowledgeable in online communication and understanding of the right tactics to combine online marketing with overarching outreach goals in a professional setting. You will grow your network and receive amble guidance in your chosen career goals.

The position begins February 1st and ends on June 1st.  Currently, the position is unpaid, but Work Study, Course Credit, and other cash bonuses will be provided to ensure the candidate receives a worthy return on his/her investment. You are expected to work at least 8 hours a week.
